Bí Cineálta Overview
What is it?
Bí Cineálta is the name of the new set of Anti Bullying Guidelines developed by the Department of Education. They are to be implemented from September 2025. The guidelines, which can be read in full at the following link, include a definition of bullying and a defined pathway to follow.
For us, having used KiVa for the past number of years, these guidelines are very similar in their approach and we will still be using KiVa as part of our new Bí Cineálta strategy going forward.
